Black Crows Corvus Freebird (107mm waist) 2025
The Corvus Freebird falls in the category of an east coast powder ski or a daily driver for areas of high annual snowfall. Starting at the core of the ski, poplar wood is lightweight but retains the snappy feel you'd look for in alpine skis. Paulownia wood is even lighter than poplar and provides the torsional rigidity you'd want in a backcountry ski. The ski profile offers a long effective edge length with enough tip rocker to comfortably skin through deep snow or release the turn in powder and tight trees in the glades.
