This season we're increasing our backcountry ski rental fleet to 12 pairs of skis from Fischer ranging in widths from 80 to 100mm underfoot and lengths from 135 to 183cm. In addition, we'll have a full set of Alpine Touring Boots ranging in size from 22.5 to 30.5 to accommodate most feet. If you're heading into the backcountry, we also rent out and sell various safety gear that's necessary for safe travel in the mountains.Â
If you're new to backcountry skiing and want a lesson, we provide those at Black Mountain and limit to an hour, all gear is included.
Up to $100 spent towards rentals can be used on retail purchase of equipment.Â
