Number One Fan (Huntington Ravine) 2/22/25

It was a beautiful morning in Huntington Ravine today as myself, Pat, and Zoe made our way up the fire road to do some fun low angle skiing. Things have been firm as of late so we decided to keep it low key and stay off the steeps. We crested into the Ravine shortly after sunrise and caught an amazing alpenglow on the ridge.

The Huntington Ravine trail is nicely covered and fast but could get chopped up a bit as the weekend progresses. We opted for a smooth less wind affected part of the Fan as our goal as the snow was firm and has not softened up enough yet. The skiing was enjoyable and navigating the exit of the Ravine was fairly straightforward. Another solid #amcommute.
