TRT to Sherb - 1/24/26

Guest Blog by Nate, Same, and Keeg

Our morning began from the Pinkham Notch lot where temps were reading -10F. We began our skin up the Tuckerman Ravine trail around 9:45am. Not too frigid in the trees, but you get the occasional strong gust ripping through. Upon reaching HoJo's, we stopped for a quick gaze of Tucks and the Boott Spur gullies and began to cry slightly as we (once again) realized that nothing beats the Whites. The conditions looked killer, but wasn't the day for it. We transitioned and began the ski down the Sherb. First 10 minutes during the descent, the snow was cold to the point that it was stopping us in our tracks. Once we transitioned past the shallow flats into the steeper sections, the speed picked up and the stoke elevated. Solid ride down, with some deeper powder on the edges. A few soft mogul sections. Overall a solid morning up on George.
