Tuckerman Ravine 12/19/24

Hermit Lake recorded 4" during the storm overnight, a far cry from the 8-10" we were hoping for but it made a difference. Winds were whipping and visibility was poor up in the ravine. New snow was loading and we observed a few areas of concern to avoid where snow was loading.  Skiing was defensive with flat light and nothing worthy.

The Sherburne Ski Trail was skiing fast but still many bare spots to navigate. Watch out for the waterbars, Jack ended up blowing a U-spring :(

Spencer figuring out new ways to get face shots.

Jack Elder into the whiteness.

Looking for red flags in Chicken Rock Gully.

A few soft turns to be had.
