There's still skiing to be had out there and today we saw several parties heading up the Tuckerman Ravine Trail to take advantage of the summer-like weather. Left-Gully, Hillman's, the Eastern Snowfields, and Airplane all offer quality turns. Even the upper 300' of Dodge's looked appealing.Â
Unfortunately the Auto Road is conducting road work and won't be open until this weekend at the earliest :(Â
For those looking to hike / run up Washington, the Lion Head summer route is good to go without spikes (provided the snowfields are warmed up). They are also rebuilding the summit stairs. Photos below.
