Widths range from a narrow 86mm crampon designed for mountaineering skis, all the way up to a 120mm ski crampon that will fit even the girthiest of boards when they are pressed into service on wind-scoured ridgetops. There's even a 70mm ski crampon to make your 65mm skimo race skis more capable in the high alpine.

They eliminate the clunky transitions to boot crampons when you reach a stretch of hard snow, instead allowing you to traction your way uphill without removing your skis.
