Greg's Take: Tecnica has labeled the Decoy as "an uphill boot for downhill skiers" and I think that mantra hits the nail on the head. The Decoy slots cleanly between the Tour Pro and Cochise line of boots, creating a true hybrid that excels both in and out of bounds. The PU lower provides a damp feel for when the snow gets funky, and an alpine style liner with a hinged cuff provides both comfort and control when you need them most. Choose the Decoy over the Tour Pro if you prioritize downhill performance and don't mind a bit more limitation on the uphill. The GripWalk sole also makes this a viable candidate for a one boot quiver. Full review can be found here.
