Meet the Team

Monte McIndoe

Monte, aka “Rufus,” has been working with Andrew and the shop since 2018. His relationship started as a team member of the shop's Meister team, the Remax Rebels. After Andrew’s departure from the team, Monte led the rebels to two league-winning seasons. During that time Andrew developed Friday Night Lights, where Monte was introduced to the uphill skiing world. Together Monte and Andrew co-direct Last Man Standing races, as well as other events. Andrew does most of the work, and Monte is around to take the blame should anything go wrong.

Spencer Ralston

Spencer is that guy you spot in the mountains wearing something wildly inappropriate for the conditions—usually no shirt, sometimes questionably short shorts, and always with alarming confidence. A backcountry skier, trail runner, and climber, he spends his days chasing fresh lines, big miles, and granite walls. Sunrise skins? Check. Racking up for a new route before you’ve gotten out of bed? That’s Spencer. He’s got the local beta, boundless energy, and the kind of stoke you can’t fake.

Greg McMillan

A longtime customer turned local, Greg moved to the valley a few years ago and wasted no time joining the team. He learned to ski at Cranmore at the tender age of three and has been hooked on the Whites ever since. When he’s not working, Greg is usually skiing (shocker), running, or grinding gravel on the backroads of Tamworth and beyond. A proud #amcommute enthusiast, he’s often spotted in Tuckerman Ravine on his trusty Black Crows Navis. Greg is also a certified gear tinkerer, constantly swapping out his quiver in search of that perfect piece of gear—until next season rolls around.

His ideal day? A proper breakfast, a big spring mission on the eastern slopes of Mount Washington, a burrito for lunch, and a couple of cold ones at Ledge Brewing to close it out.

Kyle Husto

Kyle spent nine years in the shipping industry before recently landing at the shop in Jackson—trading freight schedules for face shots. A proud monoskiier, he’s been known to take his single plank deep into the backcountry thanks to the mythical “split-monoski.” When he’s not lapping Tuckerman, you’ll usually find him making big, weird turns down Mount Katahdin in Maine. He’s also partial to what he calls “aggressively long walks in the woods” to ski mediocre conditions.

If you want beta on zones outside the Presidentials—or you’re “mono-curious”—Kyle’s your man.
