Comfortable foam grip, solid lockout mechanism, articulating powder basket, and the ability to collapse for easy storage. This is a great option when trading poles for ice axes on ski mountaineering objectives, for splitboarders who don't want a 3-piece pole, or just plain ease of packability going to and from the mountain.
