The Speedgoat 7 GTX is the waterproof build of HOKA's technical trail shoe, and it goes further than adding a membrane to the regular Speedgoat 7. A GORE-TEX Invisible Fit liner keeps water out, the upper is made from rugged recycled Cordura, and toggle lacing can be cinched with gloves on (a pair of standard laces comes in the box). Underfoot it is the same Speedgoat 7 platform: a springy supercritical EVA midsole on a Vibram Megagrip outsole with 5 mm Traction Lugs. Built for wet trails, shoulder season and early snow.
