Highlights from the Ride
- Park off Pinkham B / Dolly Copp for a little extra. It's quiet and a nice start to the ride with a short climb. The road here can have some holes so keep your head up.
- The rail trail is cruiser, this is a nice way to get the legs spinning
- Old Cherry Mountain Road is such a nice stretch of riding, the climbing grade is nice and there is rarely traffic on this road.
- The ride up to Jefferson Notch offers excellent views of Mount Washington
- Jefferson Notch road is much easier in the counter-clockwise direction
- The descent off Jefferson Notch is fast and steep, be careful of your speed and road conditions.
- We opted to take the road back (Rt 2 - have a blinky!) because of time constraints but it's nice to mix it up.
