Central Gully - 3/29/25
Mar 29, 2025
Young Gabe and I toured into Huntington Ravine hoping to score some first tracks on the new snow that fell over night. Snow coverage into Huntington has greatly improved. We were able to skin to the floor of the ravine with ease. We booted up Central, roughly 3/4 of the way up the line before we had to swap over to head into work. We did trigger/set off two small dry loose pockets of snow. It was expected, as we discussed this could happen before we dropped in. Gabe navigated the ice choke beautifully and skied out some amazing turns down the Fan. The choke is all snow and is skiable....or side-slipable for me. The ski out to the car is filled with sharks looking to tear your base up.... Please be careful.
POW?!?!? In New England?!?!
Pinnacle looked very snowy. Lots of spin drift was funneling down into it.
Ripping up the Fan.
Young Gabe airing it out.
