Diagonal + Huntington Beta - 3/19/25

A tale as old as time.... Jake, Caleb and myself began the slog into Huntington. With hopes of the last day of an easy in and out of Huntington we hurried up the trail. We were met with some "dry" skinning to get into the ravine. The warm temps and sun has dramatically changed the Huntington fireroad and access trail. At the bottom of the Fan the sun greeted us and softened the snow as we booted up. Central.... is looking quite sad and a little sketchy through the choke. Lots of undermined ice and snow. Sweating, we clicked in and skied perfect corn in Diagonal. A little alpine bush surfing got us to the Fan, which was perfect corn snow. The ski out to the Sherb was....interesting. Sherb still goes to the car... for now.

Dry skinning.

The Central choke.

CORN!!!!!!!!

Alpine bush surfing.

Pinnacle with a big hole at the bottom and what appears to be a big hole in the middle.
