Spring is here... for now. Yesterday temps took their time to warm up and the early morning commuters were disappointed by how firm the snow was - I did a Sherb lap with Squall that I'm sure you could hear from Wildcat.
The good news: there was plenty of snow in Tuckerman Ravine, Hillman's / Dodge's, and the Snowfields. More snow on the way later this week. It's going to be a fantastic April.
The bad news: the ski out is getting rough. Little headwall is no longer an option (highly recommend boot up LG and skiing out Hillman's). There are a few speed check sections on the Sherb that you need to watch out for. Take the caretaker's path to avoid the melt out at crossover #7, and use caution on the last few pitches before snaking your way to the parking lot. Enjoy!
