Get Ready With Me + Chute Laps - 4/13/25

Since this viral trend is going around the internet, I will share a typical morning routine before a ski tour.

Now to the report........

Brent and I left a humid parking lot at 5am for a sweaty walk uphill. We were able to put skins on at the car and skin to the base of Tuckerman. With eyes on Chute we start booting up heading to the lookers right or Chute North Variation. About 2/3 of the way up we kicked in a bench, not wanting to top out and deal with the ice roll over. We enjoyed some sticky and wet POW turns down into the floor. With enough time for another mini lap, we booted up lookers right of out ski line, more in the Center Headwall zone. This lap held the best turns of the morning. Wet and heavy but the line was untracked and we were able to enjoy some fun turns. We skied out the shwack of Little Headwall and enjoy skiing down 90% of the Sherb. Taking skis off the last two drops.

Brent walking into the Bowl.

Our high point for both laps.

Ski mountaineer.

The Sherb.
