Hello all, Jimmy from Harvard Cabin guest blogger at the shop here with a conditions update mid rain storm. Temps were above freezing overnight at the cabin and a quarter inch of rain fell, with a possible 3 on the way later today and into the night. Our snowpack settled 10 cms but as I'm writing this it is only settling more. With visibility being non-existent today, we are just going to have to wait and see whats happening at Ravine level.
The "sherb" was still skiing the whole way down today to the parking lot. Comparing conditions from yesterday though the snow has become very slow and only becoming more saturated. With the incoming cold snap the trails are going to be skiing fast and someone might have the chance at taking a wack at the fastest down the sherb.
