Saturday Sherb 12/7/24

Above: Greetings from Hermit Lake!

Trail: John Sherburne Memorial Ski Trail

Notes: Mother Nature keeps shaking the Pinkham snow globe as we were graced with another refresh overnight. A coating on the lower pitches became 1-2" on the upper half of the trail. Yesterday's high winds resulted in the typical exposed spots becoming wind scoured, revealing some mid trail sharks. Low vis and blowing snow prevented any views into the ravine (see cover photo). Coverage is still excellent top to bottom, if you make it up there early enough you may even find a little powder stash on the side.

Beta: The lot wasn't too busy this morning but I expect a decent amount of traffic as the day goes on. If you get a late start you may encounter some scratchy conditions in places. The season is off to a great start and on top of that Obs is calling for another round of snow tonight into tomorrow. Check out the full forecast here.

Hagan Skis doing the job out there this morning

The lower pitches are holding on strong - above photo is around 2700'

Some mini sharks out there but still wall to wall coverage to the car!
