Trail: Chicken Rock Gully / Chute
Notes: Snow keeps blowing in at the higher elevations. Old tracks have been covered up with a fresh refill in the bowl with prevailing W-NW winds. No signs of instability observed.
Beta: Finally the winds dipped below 20mph making for more enjoyable backcountry conditions, especially when the sun peeked over Boottspur Ridge. There's snow in the forecast overnight and winds will ramp up. The Mount Washington Avalanche Center is now posting their daily bulletins which we'll link to here.
The Pinkham Front Range is filling in.
Apparently Spencer opted out of steep skinning 101.
