April POW!!!!! - 4/10/25

The crew headed up the trail this morning. With high hopes and vibes we ascended to the floor of Tuckerman Ravine. The skin up was not bad, several grass crossings but we had skins on from the car. Booting up Right Gully, it was cold and wintery. The snow was not sticky or wet as we anticipated it to be. We crossed into the snowfields and the sun begin to throw off some heat. With some steep skinning, booting and whatever the hell Young Gabe was doing, we summited Mt. Washington. We dropped down to our skinner and enjoyed some glorious April POW turns. Both Gabe and Brent took advantage of the conditions and threw up some cold smoke as they blitz by me. The top out of Right Gully had melted out, I booted down about 1/3 of the way to start my descend. The rest of the crew did not have work today so they enjoyed some more laps up high. Right Gully was warming up quick, a lot of solar was hitting the snow. I scooted out down Little headwall.... which was in.... for now. I was able to "ski" the Sherb down to the second cut off and I walked the rest of the way. Winter ain't over yet!
