Huntington -> Tuckermans -> Shop!!!! m- 1/26/2025

Brigham and I started skinning under cloudy skis this morning. A rather warm parking lot picked up our hopes that all was not lost. We worked our way into Huntington Ravine to check out the snow. The boulder field is still present and working our way up to South Gully was a slog. As we turned the corner into the line, we had an enjoyable boot pack and easy snow climbing to the ridge. Greeted by the wind, we put our hoods up and heads down and marched over to Tuckerman's. The winds gusted up to 30-40mph but most of the walk a steady 10-15mph was on us. Cresting into Right Gully, the winds died down and a light dusting of snow was on top of the wind board. Great turns and bad visibility deposited us in the base of the bowl. We skied out to Hojo's and skied out the Sherburne Ski Trail. The Sherburne has patches of ice all over it and cautions skiing on some sections is required.
Marching up South Gully
Decent turns in South.... if you want to slog for it.Â
