Good Booter Friday - 4/18/25
Apr 18, 2025
Our day began early as Forrest, Spencer, and I set off from Pinkham in the dark. With a quick pace we traversed into Huntington Ravine. The snow was thin with many stretches of bare ground. We climbed under the Harvard Ice bulge as the sun peaked over the ridge providing a spectacular alpine glow. With minimal difficulty we climbed up and around the bulge into Diagonal. As we topped out, we were greeted with great views. We decided not to ski it due to the firm nature of the snow and exposure below. The three of us traversed to the snowfields and found great skiing under the sun. Unfortunately, the exposed areas were quite firm. Forrest departed but Spencer and I lapped the fresh pow several times. The morning wrapped up in Tuckerman Ravine with a lap of Chute and Central. The skiing was great below the roll over and stoke was high. On our way to work, we skied down through Little Headwall and most of the Sherb before running down the Tuckerman Ravine Trail with skis on our backs. It was a superb morning with pleasant weather, and great snow.
