The Mafate X took the stability of the Stinson and performance of the Mafate to create the Mafate X - a cushy trail shoe with a monster stack height. It is incredibly comfortable and is perfect for all-day events were protection and a smooth ride are necessary. We've been wearing these around the shop, at backyard ultras, and on local trail runs. Not recommended for the high alpine but these boats are like the station wagon that gets the job done.
