Description

### Norrøna Says ###

Our warmest waterproof mitten for ski/snowboard.

These mittens (164g) are of mid thickness and provide a great balance of warmth and dexterity and are perfect for all types of ski outings.

We use a flex1 main fabric because of its durability, stretch and breathability. We use a Gore-Tex liner because it is the world-leading membrane for highly durable waterproofness (28,000mm), good breathability, and total windproofness. We use goat leather on the palm, fingers and side of the thumb because it provides an excellent grip and is extremely durable. For insulation we use two different weights of thermo insulation because it offers great warmth -to-weight, insulation when wet and good breathability. We use a brushed polyester as a liner because it provides softness and moves moisture off the skin.

The main fabric composition is a Bluesign approved 69% recycled nylon/19% recycled polyester/12% elastane (205 g/m2) double weave fabric. On the palm, fingers and side of the thumb, we’ve used 100% goat leather. The interior lining is a 100% recycled brushed polyester (130 g/m2). The insulation is a recycled thermo200 (200g/m2) in the back of hand and a thermo100 (100g/m2) in the palm.

Key features include: Velcro tightening for a snug fit, pull on loop that you can hang as well, and external leather loop, a small connection hook. These mittens have a pre-shaped cut and are made with a thickness that doesn’t make it difficult to grab a ski pole.

The sleek length that will not interfere with your base layers and the hand gaiter from our lofoten jacket.
